This is an EXCELLENT Thread. Most places won't lube your pads at all.
My gf's TSX front pads were squealing so I took them off, lubed all the contact points, etc and guess what? it's been a week, no squealing. IT takes a little bit more time but it's worth it.

Had this with the OEM pads/rotors. When I went to centric rotors with Hawks ceramic pads--the problem has gone away for good. It's been about 2.5 months and 2000 miles..

I use anti squeal on the back of the shims and high temp grease on the pad ears and on the channels of pad retainers. No noise.

Old thread, I know, but I didn't feel like starting a whole new thread for a related question.

I just replaced my front rotors (OEM) and pads for all 4 wheels (OEM as well) and I'm still getting massive squeal from the front.

Is this something that just needs to be fixed with lube? What kind of lube should I get and where should it be applied? It's extremely frustrating.

It's been like two days, so it's very possible it's just that.

How long should I wait to let them set in before investigating more into it?
