Are Nismo kits discontinued?

Does anyone know if the full OEM aero nismo kits are still available and if they are where about I can get it for a 03 G sedan. Ever since I purchased my car in march I have been looking for it I am having a difficult time finding it. I have gone to many different dealerships to look for it in the hopes that each one would have a different response but they all just tell me the same thing. That those kits are only available in the states and that they can't get it. I tried looking for it on the internet but the sites that I find just say that they have been discontinued. So are they discontinued or are they still available?

Riverside Infiniti would be able to send it to you. It may be unavailable in your color. Most likely a blue kit will be sent and you will have to repaint it.

Technically, no. I know the front bumper is still available in some colors. They are not manufacturing the kit anymore, so what they have left is what they have left.

Well that would mean YES they are discontinued. Selling old stock isn't the same as making them.

They are not being made by nissan anymore AT ALL.

Haha I know what you are saying, but some pieces are still available. To me, once they are totally gone they would be discontinued.

Some are still floating around, but they are not being made anymore. Discontinued means they are no longer in production.

I'm kind of perplexed. Automakers are required to provide any and all parts for at least 10 years from the date of production. That means those parts should be available until at least 2014.

Nope, because technically the Nismo bumper is an aftermarket OEM piece. Therefore they don't need to provide it to the owner when they can just give them the normal non aero bumper.

I talked about it with the head of service at Guelph infiniti, lots of things Nissan does to save their asses.

G35freak is right, they just recently declared they were no longer being produced.
