coupe 19's

I just bought a set of coupe 19's for my 06 sedan rwd. Im pretty new to the boards and i want to know what tire i should run. They have 225/40 and 245/40 now but i am not lowered yet but plan on doin h-techs real soon. Any info would help me alot. Plus im in NY so the roads are horrible.

I'm running 225/40/19F, 255/35/19R and have no rubbing problems even with a full car load. I'm running Z springs up front, G35 coupe springs/shocks out back.
I'm in jersey, so I know what roads you're talking about.

i'm on 225/40 & 245/40, lowered on revised Z suspension. no rubbing yet, but i do feel road imperfections much more, due to the 40 series.

245/40 or 245/35 all around would be my choice.

I have 245/40's on my set right now. (spare wheels).

right now I'm on 245/35 fronts and 245/40 rears but over the winter will look for some 255/35 rears, I think that's a nice setup; fills the space nicely while maximizing the rubber I can put to the road. I had 235/35s (that's what's in my avi, in fact) up front but they 1) looked too small and 2) had too-short sidewalls so they were a bit harsh and I worried about whacking the rims in a pothole.

I ran 245/35 on the front and 255/35 on the rears of my RWD 03 sedan. I was dropped on z suspension with z springs in front and coupe springs in the rear. Never rubbed at all. I actually sold the wheels/tires to a forum member (skyfox16) who put them on his 05 (or 06?) AWD g35X sedan. He said the fit no problem and had no issues at all. Here are some pics I have of them while they were on my g

245/35 front and 255/35 rear with z front and g nonsport cpe springs in the rear. Comfortable, handles very nicely, and no rubbing with the 35 series tires and rear cpe springs. Rolled out back, but that was just optional done before I had the setup. You don't need it with my setup, good to have just in case you go lower and use 40 series tires.
