Who will in in a race G35 vs. Audi TT 225. Any one race one?

 

It depends what mods are on the TT and the G.
Let's just say stock for both.
If its the 180hp engine than the G would win.
If its the 225hp engine than the G would win.
If its chipped 250hp engine than the TT would win.

 

Ok what about that V6 TT 6psd.

 

Race one! Actually the gearing on the TT's is so poor that it feels like the car is amazingly fast, but the gears are just so short. I believe the G35 will still when in a quarter-mile race no matter if the TT is chipped or not.

Yes the gearing is very short.
I have both a Audi TT 225hp and a VW New Beetle Turbo S 180hp. They both are 6 sp with very short gears that make the car seem like it is quicker than it actually is.

 

What about the new SMG V6 version coming out.

 

Isn't that the one that is 250hp stock? I think it does 0-60 in the 5 sec range.

 

So that one would be more of coupes competitor? 250hp is pretty good for a car that size. So is it a sure that we can beat a TT 225? I know someone with one and maybe want to race him.
