Anyone ever used these car computer memory saver with a 9 volt battery? I hate to re-program all the radio stations after disconnecting the negative battery. I know it only takes a few minutes but still...

That will not work for the G. The cigarette lighter only gets power with the ignition in the ACC or ON position. If you did that, it would instantly drain the 9v battery.

But, seriously. It takes what, 2 minutes to program radio stations? And, how often do you really disconnect your battery??

 

Twice this month.

G - replaced cd changer
Sentra - replaced headlight bulbs

 

So, 4 minutes total.

And, why did you disconnect the battery to change your headlight bulbs??

 

Haha...

I am just doing it because that's what the manual said. I know it's probably not necessary.
