this is one of those mods that basically does nothing but the placebo affect

much like a cold air intake

you will gain about 2-3 hp but you will not feel it

same with this, you will gain a bit more current flow but not enough to feel

I had one on my old accord. Didn't really notice a difference but that was when I was 18 and bought a cheap set off ebay. Im older and wiser now so I'm sure a quality set would do some good

You don't really know what you're talking about do you?

This is NOT a horsepower mod. You will not gain power.

This will slightly increase your throttle response and trim down a little shift lag. It isn't a placebo affect, it is proven to work.

Don't buy the stillen.

Buy either Gordgee like stclair mentioned or Seans (SxExCx)

Use the search feature and you'll get all kinds of reviews and info on them.

I'm not trying to be a dick, your post just made it seem like it was a total waste of money.

Everyone who has one of the quality made ones, GG or Seans, have felt the difference enough to love it. Everyone who has the stillen and the inferior ones have said it's useless.

Do you have a grounding kit installed?

I have done it and noticed nothing, no voltage increase, no faster shifting ( I have an auto)

wire is basically wire, there is Oxygen free and such but it really wont make a difference in this case

I think the ideal size is 4ga for this mod.

I had 0 ga from an install and tried it, no difference.

It was rockford wire. Im not sure who makes stillens wire kits but im sure its a decent brand

You need to buy a good kit in order to notice anything, Gordgee Grounding Kit comes with 10 wires for 5AT.

Kinda makes you wonder why Infiniti didn't properly ground the car to begin with (or did they?) . I'd like to imagine they have several highly paid intelligent Electrical engineers on their staff.

I've run supplimental engine grounds on cars in the past, but something about popping the hood and seeing bright blue "snakes" criss-crossing the engine bay hitting various grounding points seems a little silly to me. Usually i just run a single heavy gauge wire from engine block to chassis and call it a day. (most of my cars were manual trans). I think many of the wires used can be eliminated if you use several good ground points and 2ga or 4ga wiring vs the 8ga uses in a lot of the kits.

Maybe after my warranty is up, i'll make some wires and give it a shot.....mainly grounding the trans and engine to the chassis, but i'm not expecting to notice a difference at all.

Stillen kit = $5 worth of 8 ga wire and connectors for the oh so special price of $90.
