car has about 61k miles on it now and i hear this non stop creeking sound when i press the brakes coming to a stop. say im driving 40 and have to come to a stop a little faster than usual i hear it coming from the front like underneath obviously. like a non stop tapping creek until car is fully stopped.

 

I have this sound too that just started about 2 weeks ago. Is it like a rapid low popping sound coming from one of the wheel areas? That's where mine is coming from. I had both compression rods replaced about 3K miles ago and enjoyed zero noise until about 2 weeks ago. Maybe something just isn't torqued down all the way. Anyone else?

 

maybe i need to get those replaced, how much was that? i dont need to get them at dealer?

 

I had it done under warranty. I think the parts are 150ish each and then labor.
