400 bucks will get you an HR ypipe and some sways. Sways are way more fun than sound.

^ what are the best sways for the money, stillen?. And is it good enough to get just the rear sways or front too? Do you have to get an alignment after installing sways or no?

I have Stillens and like them, I paid $225 for F and R so for me it was a budget issue. I would do front and rear. No you do not need an alignment but you may want to get new endlinks. I bought new ones but got my warranty to cover them so I have extras now.

before thinking of exhaust, please lower your car and get rims.

1st 2 things that need to be done to the sedan, and then go from there

^^ Google 'SPL endlinks' and search them on here, several threads on endlinks, though IMO they're not really necessary unless you're tracking. I do agree that sways are a really nice upgrade, not expensive and you can really feel the difference...great mod for our cars. FWIW mine are set soft on front, medium rear.

There was a thread on the sways where I saw the popular setting, I forget now what they were. The endlinks I bought were for the these http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

From the coupe but another member runs them and recommended them to me. You will have to dig on the rears to see what eveyone is running for the rear. Maybe you can upgrade while still staying oem.

I know the Powergrid endlinks (if I remember right) is what a lot of the 350z guys were raving about. Mixed reviews on the SPL's.

I have the HKS sport rear, HR Y pipe, coupe middy, and Berk HFCs.. I love the sound of my exhaust.. its very close to OEM just a little louder and deeper, more like a coupe than a sedan.. if your looking for a cheap way out get used coupe middy and HR y pipe, then get a MD 5/16 spacer.. this way you'll get a deeper exhaust note and some performance..
Heres what i spent.. (this is the order i got the mods in)
Fujita intake brand new - $180
Changed all lights to LEDs - $160
MD Plenum copper spacer brand new - $280
HKS Sport rear axle Brand new - $400
Used HR Y Pipe - $100 (only 3000 miles on it)
Used coupe middy - $50
Berk HFCs Brand new - $400
Used Coupe rear and revised Z front springs - $80

I install everything myself, so it might be more pricey if you have a shop do it.
Car sounds really clean, no rasp .. just a bit of drone.. but it sounds like a coupe so i enjoy it. Anyways theres several different ways u can spend the $400.. its really up to you
