Thinking about getting a tune on my G, worth it?

the only mods that could possibly affect the HP are the motodyne spacer and a stillen torgue damper.

one of my friends, who also has a G, told me that i would benefit from a tune even without heavily mod the car. i need some clarification on that.

also if a tune is recommanded, which program and which tuner in the San Francisco bay area is recommanded ? and how much am I looking at to spend on the tune.

Thank you.

added: info about my G, 05 sedan AT with 45k mileage on 91 octane (there is no 93 in CA).

I wouldn't tune it, maybe if you had an intake, exhaust and a few other supporting mods....

grab an exhaust and I'll sell you my unichip. It has been tuned to my car for exhaust, stillen intake, and crawford plenum, so it should gain you HP even without getting retuned, or you can retune it as well. I'm local and thinking about selling my car.

I would get some other breather mods...it will maximize the gains of the tune and make the tune much more worthwhile.

I'd save your cash for now. Tune's on barely modded N/A cars just never produce the kind of results to justify the cost.

If you had more mods, then i could see it

You can get a little out of a tune but it helps a lot more once you have some breathing mods on the car. Get a spacer, intake and exhaust before you do a tune.
