Just curious, does anyone KNOW they have sensors in their wheels because i would think it would be much more accurate if they did.. Im curious now because like on the Hondas they have the valve stem sensors and the car immediately knows if something is wrong and even knows which tire it is and it will show you on the dash.. These cars just have that stupid light that takes forever to show up and it doesnt tell which tire.

Plus it will suck if they dont because i paid 5 bux per wheel x 5 wheels for mounting tires on rims with tpms...(i told them they have sensors..) and it was walmart, so who knows if they would have been smart enough to know if they did or did not....
i don't think that's true. mine was apparently just under whatever the sensor liked in one of the tires, every morning as soon as it frosted when i started it up the light would be up and i would get a long annoying BEEEEEP. after i've traveled about 15-20 min(long enough for the air inside to warm up and expand), the tpms took another read around that point and he was much happier, all lights off and no beeps. when i went around at the end of the week and added a pound, it seems to have solved the issue, although it could be a slow leak through a stem or obv elsewhere, and i don't even know which tire it was.
in anycase the point of all this is that the tpms is taking reads continually, and long before 30m, because at that point the air is warm and its more accurate.

Mine goes on after a long drive even though i sold my TPMS along with my stockies.

Doesn't bother me. I have a tire pressure gauge i keep in the car and i check all my tires every now and then. Better than letting the computer throw up a (_!_) because that doesn't tell me anything useful.

When I run the summer rims/wheels/tires withou the TPMS sensors the light stays off UNLESS I'm on the highway for almost exactly 25 miles without stopping. Then the light comes on, stays on until I sut down and the process begins again. Seems like so lon as there is stop and go, the light never comes on. Doesn't bother me at all!

this just makes no sense to me..unless one of mine is missing a sensor or something... mine never has beeped at me and really has only turn on twice i think after driving for awhile.. I guess I haven't taken this car on very many long trips, thats what the suv is for.. Oh well
