Unhappy Sport package and 6MT

I'm looking at used 05-06 G35 Sedans and I am finding a few 6MTs for sale but none of them have the "S" badge on them. If there is no "S" badge, does that mean it doesn't have the sport package? I thought all 6MT cars had the sport package, so I'm kind of confused because they don't have the badge. Can someone clear this up for me?

Thanks

"S" is 07+

Correct. the "S" was only put on the 07+ models. No 03-06 has an S.

You can tell from pictures usually if it has the sport package (sport 18's- look like coupe 19's, 6mt, spoiler). Also, has the sport suspension which you can't really see from pictures. I think they are red, if I am not mistaken.

Are all 6mt cars equipped with the sport package? Does the spoiler mean for sure that the car has a sport package? Can a car have the sport package without the spoiler?

6mt are sport packages for sure. You are able to get the spoiler without the sport package I believe. Yes, the Sport package does not have to have the spoiler. It's all up to the person who buys the car and what options they want on it. But if it's 6mt, I believe the car is considered the "sport package"

Thanks. Looks like carmax has one so I can finally compare it to the 330i ZHP I drove this weekend.

If it has the sport 18s and red struts, its a sport package.

All 6MT Sedans = Sport.

My 6MT Sedan does not have the spoiler (just how I would have ordered it).

You could get red aftermarket shocks and buy used 18" sport rims and look like a sport package, but you wouldn't have the VLSD.

I think 2006 is the only year the sport didn't have red shocks

We've already discussed this, VLSD came on more than just the sport pack cars.

Tint looks 20%

Red Struts are the best way to find out for sure.
