Another one of those "im getting a weird noise" threads...
Getting weird knocking/clicking noise.
- Only when i am starting to move/turn and when i hit brakes under 5mph or so
- Seems to be coming from driver side towards the outside of the car and more "high up" as opposed to from below.
-Noise doesnt sound like anything crucial, just sounds like something might need to be oiled???
My assumption: Coilovers??

sounds like the normal compression rods. but its really ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in that area. here are some common issues.
compression rod noises are more caused by uneven roads, liking pulling in and out of drive ways and alleys. I have that noise on my car from time to time. Going to replace the bushings in the summer.
you also have SPC arms so it might have something to do with that.
And then the always typical swaybar endlinks/ bushing.

Based on doing some more research on here and calling a few dealerships, it most likely is the compression rod bushing on the driver side, a $20 part but $160 to install because you need a hydraulic press to get the bushing out of the compression rod assy.
I do have the spc A arms, but dont have any aftermarket sways. Wonder if it would be beneficial to grease some of the joints in the area as a whole.

i know the compression rod bushing is like $20-25 and i know they have an updated one that suppose to last longer but i'm wondering if there is a aftermarket bushing for that. maybe from moog or energy suspension. that is what i would look into first and foremost because it seem as if most rod bushings go 30-50k on here.
