review: Technosquare's reflash for the early doggy doors and offer(please don't move)

As you some of you must know, early G sedans have next to nothing for plug and play ecu modifications. I tried to get Cobb and UpRev to consider us but they didn't see a market for us. So what's left is patch your own harness and run UTEC, Emanage Haltech etc.. and get someone to tune it or look to our only alternative, Technosquare. They can reflash our early ecus but you have to either send them your ecu or visit them in Southern California.

My review of this reflash (with the mods listed in my sig) are here:
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...nt-move-3.html

As you know Technosquare had their dyno day Oct 18th and had special pricing for their L-spec and F-spec flashes:
Dyno day pricing shipping and information sheet to fill out for ecu sending

F-Spec and L-spec defininitions:
[F-Spec (Full Spec)
Full Timing map Control (advance/retard)
Full fuel map AFR Control (lean/rich)
Full Throttle Body Control/Improved response (TB will no longer auto-close during Full WOT when gas pedal is down and near redline)
Rev Limit increase +500 RPM over factory setting
Speed limiter deletion (Factory Setting: 159mph)

L-Spec (Limited Spec)

Full Throttle Body Control/Improved response (TB will no longer auto-close during Full WOT when gas pedal is down and near redline)
Rev Limit increase +500 RPM over factory setting
Speed limiter deletion (Factory Setting: 159mph
Proposal:
An associate of mine that works with TS said he would be willing to ask TS to extend their dyno day pricing to about 5 members that are interested. I'll start the list:

1) Dave B
2)
3)
4)
5)

I'll take the list and see if TS would honor their pricing.

I'm posting this here as the early sedan guys have no reflash options except TS. If the 5 spots can't be filled by interested sedan guys (early or late), I'll post again in the tuner section.

One more bump before I just ask TS to reflash Dave's ecu. Non-early years are welcome to get on it also.

Can they also offer this deal to the later sedans? I might want the L-spec for mine. I still have the stock speed limit and TB issue.

Yes, I'll give a list to them and ask them to offer us the GD prices for all on the list. Early or late models

Jeff,

I'm in no rush so don't feel like you have to push this thing through quickly. Also, even if the deal didn't go through, I'd still pay full price for the flash.

I'd give it another week. I probably need to get back with Cheston at some point.

FYI, Tadashi (the tuner) is out of the country until mid-December.

Tim, I thought that the UTEC (isn't that what you're tuned with?) has full control of the TB?

There has been a lot of speculation about the TB starting to close from 5000K to redline down to 80% open. When Tony at UMS tuned my car with the Emanage it appeared to stay fully open all the way to redline.

Maybe it does. I know I make good power to ~6800 and then it starts to dip off. My rev limit is set to 7500 but I do have cams and springs to support the higher limit. If that's the case, I would rather hold off and do a full tune to help match my UTEC to my ECU.
