Sweet ride.
There are days when I think I'd be better off in something like an STi.

you definitely got the right car for what you're looking for! I've been in my friend's 500 AWHP STI and I felt the ride was very....."rough". Do they come stock like that or is it because of his suspension? It handled like a dream, but on the freeway it was a bit uncomfortable!
In stock form, you do feel more of the road. However, I wouldn't consider it uncomfortable. Does he have stiff/crappy coilovers?

I'm eventually going to get a set of RCE Tarmac 2's (KW Variant 3 Clubsports, with different valving). They're pretty gangster.

As far as insurance goes, it's about the same. It's about 140/month for my STI and a daily 2006 Nissan Sentra. Single, 29/yr old male, own my own home.

I have new daily wheels coming too... Track wheels are 18x8.5 + 33, stock BBS are 18x8.5 +55 (weak sauce). New wheels are going to be 18x9 +30...
ineterested to know that you say its roughly the same.

i know rates all differ by people but last time i ran numbers. my g35x was 1/2 the cost of a WRX of equal value, which made my choice a LOT easier for me. Maybe the new chassis are less retard prone and rates went down.

Sweet ride. I really like the new STi's, especially with wider rims/tires and a mild drop. I'm still a bit partial to the new EVO, especially the new Touring variant. The stuff I've witnessed EVO do at the auto-x is downright insane. It doesn't seem the way they can turn, hang on, and accelerate out....or really never let off the gas.

If you ever want your spine back, it'll be in the G where you left it.

No, you can't have my track wheels. Haha.

The ride in the STI is NOT that bad.

Pink? Nahhh. No roll cage for me.

Tomorrow: new wheels.

In a couple of weeks, built motor, GT52 turbo (basically a 30R), 38mm Tial external wastegate (dump tube), 850cc injectors, etc, etc, along with two piece front rotors, Hawk DTC-30 pads, stainless lines.........

This should put me around 400awhp. This thing is going to be a beast!

What injectors are you going to run? A friend of mine is working on building a EJ25 for boost.
