Squeaky Suspension
Squeaky Suspension
I drove my car home today, and my front suspension was really squeaky when i pulled up the curb and into my driveway. Its 25 degrees here in mn today, but i remember this happening during the fall also. has anyone had this problem? I dont think this is normal..
Generally a squeaky suspension as you describe means that the bushings need to be replaced on your compression rods. This is common on our G's. There's a TSB on this and numerous posts scattered all over the forum also.
WD40 is possibly not the best thing in the long run since it's a dirt magnet. The only real solution is to replace the bushings. I think they make polyurethane based ones now, which are a much better quality.
Good luck and hope this helps.
