Finally, AWD season in northeast, part num request

Finally, 20 mpg yearround paid off this morning. Put the car in 'snow' mode this morning and trudged along no problem. Unfortunately, I was out before the plows were this morning, and I ended up plowing for them. As I was pulling into the driveway at my work, I ripped the underbody engine shroud back.

Part num for underbody plastic engine shroud, 06X AWD?

By the aluminium one so you don't need to replace it again. I think the plastic ones are pretty expensive from the dealer.

The Z one fits our cars.

Sig worthy right there! The mpg is awful on the X but when the white stuff hits the ground it all pays off... (only been stuck once in the G and it just happen to be off road so it doesn't really count )

Will the 06X cover fit an 04X or is it a different part number? Mine was ripped off as well.

I didn't even need to put mine in "snow mode" this AM. I was out having a blast!

I didn't even get a chance to put my snow tires on, going next week. But i was doing fine in normal mode with stock all-seasons....just gotta make sure i give enough room to stop that's all.

gsedan6mt, thanks for the part num.

I watched the forecast last night and they were predicting 1-3", and this morning there was more like 6. Snow mode probably wasnt necessary, but like i said, i have been since last year to press that button.

So I took a look underneath and the rear portion of the cover was hanging on by two bolts, so i decided to bring it down the street to a garage at the gas station. The guy looked me straight in the face and told me 50 bux to take it of. I ended up driving two miles down the road to an oil change place and the guy there didnt charge me anything. Gave him ten bux and went on my way.

All you need is a 10mm nutdriver for the bottom cover.

Kinda curious how it it came off in the first place. It's held on by 15 or so of the bolts, so you'd have to catch it pretty good and scrape the front bumper to really rip it off.

I've plowed through deep snow before without issue.

Im hoping they are right about the foot of snow here so I can see how this thing does.. I always turn off the traction on my vehicles in the snow.. but I have also been wanting to see how the G handles with that and the snow button on..
