Cars do weird things when it gets cold. And for you Cali and FL guys....50 degrees is not cold

Lol, if it was 42 now, i'd have the sunroof open


Nice high temp of 27 degrees today. The G35 pulls hard in the crisp cold air!

You know, I just randomly picked 42 because it was lower than 50, but not by much (and because 42 is "the answer") but then I noticed this...

maybe not, but 35 is!!! And its been that at night lately

Feel sorry for us, we aren't accustom to this cold

I don't really mind the cold much. I was on a job the other day and my boss was freezing and I was fine. Funny thing is, he's from NY (though he has been living in FL for 10 years.)

except we had rain earlier in the week, rain today and rain all weekend - no car wash here either

So Cal is cold and rainy... poor us... we need sympathy

this happens on my car if u shut the car off while driving on highway, then turn it back on while still driving. The TCM gets confused and doesnt allow 5th gear

^ I'm going to go do that right now just to see if it locks out 5th.

To be honest, I've done it on accident before. I hit the key with my knee.
But there is one good reason why someone might do this, just so they know how to react, or how the car will react. I think knowing how to drive in a pinch without power steering/brakes is an important skill.
