Most insurance companies will deny you coverage or your claim if they find out that you were racing at the time of the incident?
The insurance company also has the right to void your policy for making most types of performance modifications?

I just went through agent school, and passed my 2 state exams....and now I'm thinking twice about modding my G any further, as well as racing in situations where the only thing you really win is a quicker trip to the gas pumps!!! Just my .02 cents worth.... Be safe and live life using your head...not your ego!!!

i like how martin said the G35 surprises him time and time again because thats EXACLTY how i feel.....THIS CAR IS SOO QUICK!!!!.....dont be afraid to race....cuz G35s are FAST!....i have beaten cars id never have imagined in my wildest dreams to have even kept up with....my car consistantly brings me joy.....i love u baby!( my g35 )

 

A 5at with ground wires (especially 7-10) is a great way to improve the tranny and make up for that difference. Add a plenum and exhaust and you can run Z times. For the same money AT sedans seem to respond better (more power to make up) and even outperform thier heavier counterpart with more HP and the same mods. I'd like to see a modded sedan and coupe shootout. The 5at sedan with mods would be a hell of tough match on a track with the consistency they offer.

Thanks guys lol!!! I recently ran a 13.9 on the Gtech with my 19's and then a 14.1!! My G friend chris ont hese boards who lives in NY, has stuff done to his 5at coupe and he wants to run me. He has exhaust, headers, intake and i think plenum, so i dunno. Imagman ahhh, care to share some info =)?

considering that 13.9 gtech time and how stock s-4's run the quarter in the high 13's. that run with the s4 sounds about right. Sweet ride martin. My wgn runs mid-low 13's....what would it take to get the X in the low 13's?

gj on the s4 kill. i love those cars. if i had 15-20K when i got my can, id get one myself.

on the 1/4 times, i dont think that is where the real win is on the mt. 1/4 mile times are so close in the mt vs at, it will always be a good race. the at will prolly win most of the time due to mt driver errror.

i think the real win with the mt is to be able to negotiate a turn, find the corner entrace, the apex, and exit, and still be in the perfect gear to be fast and be smooth.

granted, i have only driven an at when i get a loaner. im not sure how it acts in the corners. will it shift on you when you hit the rev limiter? if so, it is all over. :/

if not, awesome! much props to the at drivers anyway. this is a great, fun car, no matter what the flavor

" Tony man i alwasy need someone to keep me in a reality check, i totally understand and agreew tih you and im just trying to get my little moments out of my system and am very carefull with each move i do, and understand one wrong one could be very dangerous, sad but true :/ Anyway i ran my friends sti coming home from a little meet up with some g35 peeps here in ny and a subaru/evo meet also. We went before like a week ago on a 90degree day from a roll, we went from 30 my second gear and his to about 90-100, and he had a car and a half on me. I got happy that my car could actually hang but understood he was shifting as fast as he could, i believed him because of last night LOL... I had 2 friends in my car and he had no one, so we take off at about 45-50 top of second and have to shift quick and hes just pulling cars and cars on me like nothing to about 90, i said now let them hop in your car and see what it does witht he extra weight, so we go at it same race, roll 40 up to about 100 on a straight service road out by me, and he has a 1/2 a car almost a whole one on me instantly, he isnt pulling too hard and thought i would be gaining quick between him shifting and my auto, but nope, he was inching and inching till 4th gear then he started taking off like something ive never seen before, it felt like my car died?!?! Wow, fast car man, i had the opportunity to get one and love them but i dunno, although im so into straight performance and dont like luxury i couldnt see myself downgrading, weird. Anyway gnite guys. Martin

Well tonight again, i ran into a Acura TL who i previous raced and beat by 2 cars and found out he was running a 150 shot of nitrous while racing me, but it was cold out he said and didnt have bottle openers and my car was flying int he 50 degree weather last week. Anyway i ran into him again tonight, cool guy and we went and i had him by almost a car, it was MUCH faster tonight, he purged again and i had like half a car or less on him till about 100, then last race he just started pullin so hard on me from like 15-20 up to 90, man his car was running great tonight but mine wasnt as good as it could have been, the humidity sucked tonight!! Anyway im done for like the rest of the year with these little runs LOL, no more.
