Hey all

I live in New York and got a 2003 G35 Sedan with 17" wheels (215/55). I've survived the last 6 winters with all-season tires but I'm not going to risk another year. I saw someone selling winter tires which were from an 06 G35 coupe. Tire size is 225/55/17. Can I use these? Are there any issues I'm going to have to deal with?

I have searched these forums and learned that offset is different between the coupe (+30) and sedan (+45) but I'm not sure really what that means or if it will have any effect on my daily driving the next 3/4 months. Any information is appreciated. Thanks again.

You'll be okay. Although it would be better to run the skinnier tires 225 is not going to hurt you as long as they are dedicated snows like blizzaks etc..

Offsets are okay. don't worry. I was going to run 225s before I was able to find the exact 215-55-17 blizzaks to run on my sedan stockers

Yep, they're dedicated snow tires. Thanks for the quick reply.
