Hiiiiiiiiiiiigh Pitch Squealing!!!!!

I'm living in the Cold Tundra of the T-Dot(Toronto)

This week I've been starting my G 03 Sedan and a Crazzzzzzzy
High Pitch Squealing sound terrorizes my ears....

It's sound like a Belt Sound....

I need help
Any Clue on what it could be?

Thanks

It could be your tensioner pulley as well. Mine had a crazy squeal for a while. I kept adjusting my pulley to no avail. Finally I replaced my A/C tensioner pulley and all was well.

Ugh I have this too. I guess I'll loosen the belt and see how that pulley is doing. But it does stop after about 5 seconds.

It might just be a loose belt. Try tightening them up first

Try tightening up the belt first.

My pulley (AC) went out and took the brand new belt with it and it was exibiting the same symptoms. But, I've had the same belt do that after I replaced it when the weather started getting cold.

That happened to me before. Then I remembered that I left my cat under the hood that day while changing my oil.

as others have said, try tightening up the belts first. mine used to do this back in the day. the squeel still persisted mainly in cold and wet weather. However, I got all the pulleys and belts replaced and it cured it all.

Your belt is loose. If you think it's tight it's not tight enough...

I disagree. Mine doesn't do it anymore and it didn't do it before my belt snapped when I hit 30k. After changing the belt, I think I screwed up the tensioner somehow. After I replaced the tensioner all was well. Haven't had a squeal since

Mine did it when the car was cold since the temps dropped below freezing (into the teens). So I braved the cold last night and tightened both belts. They were a bit loose anyway.

This morning? No oink

its probably a small child stuck between the belly panel and the bottom of engine.

*Edit... that was in poor taste.

More likely a stuck cat.
