Hey folks,

Can someone tell me where the jack is supposed to go in the trunk in a 2006 sedan please?

I just picked up the car few days ago and don't have owner's manual yet. The dealer just left the jack sitting in the trunk and I want to move it out of the way.

There's a pocket in the left side of the trunk. It goes in caster side down into the grove. It took me a while to get it back in the first time. Good luck.

 

Yes left side. Pull the trm panel out and it tucks up the side over the rear left wheel

 

Wow does it actually fit in there? Doesn't look too big and doesn't look like there's anything to brace / hook the jack into inside the panel.....

 

like many jack storage compartments, you need to fully retract the jack before replacing it. once you have it in place you need to open the jack slightly until it is snug in the bracket. the G's jack is a pain to replace. i gave up last time and put it in with the full-size spare...

I tried to find a spot in the spare tire well but its pretty tight in there too.
