Yes....still needing one, and if it's Desert Platinum....what will you take for it? The Paint Code is KX6....if that's it.... i'd definitely love to discuss. I'm just outside of Nashville, TN. Thanks so much!

My G is Brillian Silver. I do not know where to find the info on that but I posted a pic in another thread and they came back pretty quick with the information based on looking at it. So WTB a brilliant silver plate cover if anyone has one out there...

The codes are on the driver door. There should be a sticker on the frame of the door. Desert platinum is desert platinum, desert platinum is not black obsidian.

Every color mentioned is there own color they are not the same, hence different names.. gosh common sense.

Here are the color and codes for first generation

AX6: Laser Red
AY2: Garnet Fire
B16: Caribbean Blue / Medium Blue
B21: Athens Blue
B30: Lakeshore Slate
BW5: Dark Blue Pearl / Twilight Blue Pearl
D10: Green
K23: Liquid Platinum
K32: Serengeti Sand
KH3: Black Obsidian
KX6: Desert Platinum
KY0: Brilliant Silver
QX1: Ivory Pearl
WV2: Diamond Graphite
