New Mod.....

Soooooo...... how do you guys shift your manumatic?? I drive a 2005 G35x with the manumatic tranny.

I take it he means what strategies do you use.

Don't lift off the gas on the upshifts (like a stick) and i try to use 3500 as a point of upshift and 2000 as a point of downshift.

Usually though, i just leave it in drive. Not that i don't like it, but i'm a true stickbanger at heart...so for me no clutch, no care.

Actually, my thread started with "New Mod.....". I put mine into M mode and then keep my hands near the steering wheel when I shift.....

These thing are ALOT of fun! This is not a mod for the weak at heart. You must have the proper tools and info. I basically grafted a set of 2007 paddles onto my column. Alot of trimming, measure, trim, measure..... but it was worth it in the end. I forgot my memory card with the pictures on it at work. I will post them up later tonight and also upload a video to youtube so I can link them in action.

I think i asked a lon time ago if it was possibly to get a set of the paddle shifters off the GT350-8 japanese model and install them on a G35. Never got a good answer for that
