can you swap the cluster/center console/shift selector(5at) from the 05-06 to an 03-04? couldnt find a direct answer

 

Yes. I read a thread a while back on someone who did it, but can't remember where it was.

 

did you find one locally? if you did and cant use the shifter slector thingy please let me know. because i'll take it =)

 

I've put both the 05-06 cluster, shift panel with shift boot, plus the clock in my 04
G35 coupe automatic. So much better looking =)

Lol. I'm actually not sure how. I'm really bad with uploading pics on this website for some reason. I'll search for the post somebody else did tho, they uploaded the center console picture for me, but if you wanna see how the gauges are done look up a guy named Tom's Z, there is a DIY post on how to swap them out. It made it so much easier to do the swap. The only hard part is finding the 05-07 gauge cluster harness, you can't do the swap without it.

What you did was you molded the shift plate into it. I think the Op wants to swap the entire console.

OP. In short, if the center console is the only piece you want to swap, you can't.

 

the entire section from the radio console to the armrest, and i beleive the console vents too? fill me in guys, so used to the z **** just swapping out lol
