Let me guess, you called the dealer an they said something like $1700 for an entire harness - only way you can get it??? Hope not.

I looked for my receipt, but can't find it unfortunately. Same thing happened to my frontier and 3 dealers told me i had to buy a harness for $1700. I fished around and found a picture and brought it in. Buddy says "oh yeah, we got those". Was like $20. Sorry i can't be of more help.

This is all i can find: http://www.google.com/products?q=max...ed=0CCMQzAMwAg

Yeah, check aftermarket places and try nissan dealers.
Just to be sure, the cable is fine right up to the clamp on the battery post, that's broken, right?
Ask for a positive terminal (they make pos and neg) Nissan style OEM battery cable end. I know of one place in Utah that at least used to carry it. The company I used to work for sells them, or at least used to, dunno now.

ahh! i actually just trashed one 2 weeks ago. it was sitting in the bottom of my toobox forever and i figured, "meh, ill never need it and it wont sell." sorry i cant help out.

but to answer your question, its just a terminal adapter. you can get universal ones at your local auto parts store or walmart even carries them i beleive. they should be in the battery section

^yea, same part. you simply unbolt the two 12mm nuts that hold those other wires on, and bolt them to the universal terminal connector.

Hey, I know this is completely random, but it happened to me, and took me a while to figure out what was going on.
When you put your battery cover back on, make sure you don't pinch the line that goes to your wiper nozzles. I thought the lines or nozzles were clogged or the pump was going out, turns out it was just the stupid battery cover!

Found this but not sure how much it will help. Couldn't find the OEM P/N.

For some reason this only shows up in the coupe and not the sedan on the website.

The following is what the others might be talking about but I'm not sure and it doesn't have the fusible link part.

the links helped a bunch, thank you. now does any one know if I order the fusible link for a sedan will it work with my X. The reason I ask is when I click to order a Positive cable, it ask w or w/o awd, I am assuming there is a difference in the cable but is there a difference in the fusible link?

UPDATE: I could not find any information on the fusible link itself, I had a buddy pick up the entire positive cable and overnight it to me. I just unbolted the fusible link from the new cable and bolted it to the already installed cable in the car. New battery is in and the car is running ....Thanks for the help guys

Anybody know what this part looks like? I need to replace the positive batter terminal. My local auto stores said they didnt have it, and that I needed to buy one from a dealer. I called the Inifiniti dealer to find out the price, and they quoted me $75. Does this sound legit? Also, what purpose does the mini fuse box on the harness serve? Any help would be very much appreciated! thanks all!

Look up a few posts and there are pictures of the terminal. The Fuse panel serves... welll... er... Its a fuse panel! It will interupt any surge, short, or over draw so electrical components are not harmed. You need it, don't try to ditch it.

$75 sounds like too much if what you need is what this topic is about. I think mine was $18 or $19 bucks.
