I just got a new set of Enkei GTC01 rims. Their website states that it has a 75mm center bore. The G35 has a 66.1mm center bore. Based on that, what is the correct size for the hub ring? Should I buy a ring size that matches the measurement exactly (75 outside diameter and 66.1 inside diameter) or do I buy it a bit short of that size (74 outside diameter and 66.2 inside diameter? My buddy bought a set of rims from Tirerack and the rings that came with his wheels fit perfectly snug. I want the same. Please help.

 

I was wondering the same thing, I plan on measuring the stock wheel and the hub to see what the tolerance is but haven't got around to it, I would guess though that they thought of this when they make the rings and the sizes are nominal with the tolerance built in.

 

you have to order a hub ring that is 75mm outer and 66.1mm inner. are you sure its 75mm though? Your shop should've included them for free that's what I think!

Thanks but that site doesn't really help me because they don't list the specs unfortunately. Also they don't ask you which wheel within a certain brand you have. They have one generic hub ring for Enkei. But the Enkei have different bore sizing per wheel design and even different bore sizes within a style depending on the size of the wheel.

Looked around the interweb some more and I think I've found my answer. The hub ring size is based on the exact bore size of the wheel and hub flange. So the correct size would be 75mm x 66.06mm (or 66.1mm as its sometimes rounded up). In case you're wondering, plastic seems to be recommended over aluminum because there is no risk of corrosion.

Performance Nissan (mynismo.com) has them too - I couldn't find them on their site, but that's where I got mine (aluminum).
