Stock 2006 G35x sedan 0-60 and 1/4 times?

agreed.
That's what my z is for: 3.9 to sixty and 12 flat 1/4s--stock. Low 11s with drag radials and into 10 seconds with a few minor mods:
My z is just a cam/exhaust away from this (but I don't plan on doing this for the same reasoning you're talking about)

Naw, this is my Z. But it is tempting to drop a cam and exhaust into it, but other than being slightly lowered, she is stock. Big, non-FI HP is very easily done, but I don't want to complicate my life--so I am keeping her stock. But it is nice to watch those who do mod-out the Z, from afar.

btw, anything over 500-600hp is going to be a traction nightmare without allwheel drive, so no thanks. The Cobra's, when done right are beasts.

ON corvettes its a different play, easy to make 500whp with out FI.
Cobras are ridiculously Bolt on happy...
I lost count how much my friend spent on that car. Last thing he was doing was Solid rear. And is suppose to go bigger on the supercharger, currently running the 2.8L kB. Drives around on slicks.
Traction is fun, Lifts the left front from dig lolol

That's what my z is for: 3.9 to sixty and 11.9 1/4s--stock (possible). Low 11s with drag radials and into the 10s with a few mods.

Lol when i first read your post, i thought "your Z" was a 350Z or 370Z since this is a heavily nissan-biased forum.
I was thinking to myself...what 350Z can run 11's stock?
Then i realized you meant a Z06

ha to the last 2-3 posters.^^^
You are correct sir. It is VERY common on CorvetteForum.com, Z06vette.com, corvette action center and many others.
I figured since it was in my sig, there would not be prolonged confusion. I have to renew my prem. membership so I can add ava pics too. Of course those numbers (3.9 and 11.9 ) are well documented on stock Zs
(using the "Z" again), but that is with a banging driver with ideal conditions. Anywho, I just like knowing its possible.

Ford builds great engines too. I wish they would make the GT40 at the z06 price point
Some things are just not meant to be though. Getting a used c6 zr1, GT40, and GTR is pipe-dream b/c they are too expensive, too few produced and hold their value way too much. A used z06 c5 or c6 is possible due to depreciation and lots of production numbers.

I agree. The GT40 would be the ultimate American V8 i'd want to buy....but it's just too wildly expensive. They did shove a tamed down version of it's engine in the GT500....but it's a heavy *** pig. I agree that a used Z06 is a great bang for the buck purchase. You can get them fairly cheap relatively speaking and there isn't much if anything out there that will outhandle, brake or turn them.
If i wasn't such a die hard Mustang nut, i'd pick one up and call it a day.
