will the stock cd changer work with aftermarket radio?

I have a 2006 g35 and my cd player recently stopped working but the radio still works. I read a couple of threads on here of what options were out there and decided to just get an aftermarket radio but I was just wondering if I could still use the cd changer or will that be taking out. thanks in advance.

yes it will be removed with an aftermarket upgrade

the whole headunit is one piece. you cant keep the cd changer

I have no idea what CD's are in my changer. I haven't played a CD in so long in my car. I just use my Ipod in the center console and play that. All my CD's are on the Ipod anyway
