Possibly modding headlights again..

Well I had one of my headlights leak, and the lens is allready pretty scratched up even after restore kit. So here is what I'm thinking, get a set of the black ebay halogen headlights, dont care your opinion on them if you havent had them. bake em and use their lenses and bezels and possible housing to make a projector retrofit. the question i have is, is the high beam diff on the halogen from xenon version and does this sound like the best route. I know ttrank would know the most probally on this, so hopefully he'll chime in. btw, one of my bezels is cracked so thats the main reason i dont want to just reseal the light.. also will be adding halos when i do this, and if ttrank can chime in on high beam projector retrofitting??..

I would just PM Tim since you think he might be able to answer your questions.

I doubt the high/fog reflector on both is different since they both use a halogen. If anything the recflector in the low would be different. The easiest place for me to put a projector would be in the hi/fog since there is alot more room to mount

Same halogen. Housing takes some modification to make the stock xenons fit, but since you're thinking about projectors modification will be inevitable. My only word of advice would be make sure the inside is completely clean prior to reassembly; nothing spoils a nice new set of headlights like a light layer of dust/residue. Good luck
