It comes matte black, but does that mean its safe to just install without some sort of paint protection? I'd like it to match my black OEM color sills.

 

is black plastic unpainted, is not painted matted black, therefore it wouldnt need any "paint" protection since there's no paint on it, and it wouldn't match the rest of the sills cuz the sills are gray

^ haha no, i'll try to take decent pics, camera is the least of my worries. My new double din head unit that i just bought a couple months ago is acting up, it doesnt wanna read my cds or dvds right now, second time is been doing this lately might need to buy another one, this time a more reputable brand of course
