Gap Problem

I want to lower and fill in the gap to make my car look nicer. I have 20s. What drop would be JUST right? a 1.5 or 2" drop? And what exactly do I need, just springs? Thanks.

If you go lower than an inch you'll have some camber issues. If you got two inchs you'll start eating tires.

Kevin, do you have any suspension mods at the moment? You should consider 'upgrading' your suspension to support 20" wheels. You could be prematurely wearing out your stock suspension if that's what you currently have.

I recommend searching. Also browse the site some. If you see a sedan with the drop you're looking for, go to their public profile and check their garage. Lots of people put their suspension mods there.

^ or just pm them and ask. But 99% of the time you like a drop, it's going to be on coils.

Look in the marketplace for used ones. Probably get used for $150-$200

Look in the marketplace for vendors that sell tein as well, $250 or less would be good for new springs. I think a vendor here sells them for like $220 and shipping.

Install you're probably looking at about $50 bucks a point ($200) but if you feel inclined do the rear yourself (all you need is hand tools and some floor jacks) and let the shop do the fronts since they are a little more difficult (strut towers)

Thanks. So I don't need to have any other suspension mods besides the springs?..And the springs should give me about a 2 inch drop?...

Do you have the sport package? If not, your shocks and struts will eventually blow out. Won't happen right away but soon or a later it will. You can replace them with Z revised shocks and struts(05+) which have a better rate and are use to being lower. You could also replace them with a non OEM peice like tokico D-specs.

Tein S-techs drop the car 2.0" in the front and 1.3" in the rear.

Tokico D-Specs are probably going to be your best bet.
