Mods

ok, I just got my G and i was woundering what mods I should put on it? I heard some stuff like the Z Intake Tube, K&N Filter, and JWT Pop Charger. Now does this stuff make that big of a difference? I just want some thing to give it more of a boost, and hopefully it will not bring down the gas mileage.

If you guys can tell me what this stuff does and how much of a difference it makes that will be great. Also if the is other good mods I should get for my G. I don't want to go all hardcore on it, just a few good mods that will give me the best bang for a buck.

And last what mods did you guys put on your car, and how did they workout for you? (Like Power Increase, 1/4 & 0-60 Times, Gas Mileage...)
Thanks!

Re: Mods

The Z Intake tube is a good mod, only $80 new at dealership and adds quite a bit hp for the money. The G35 stock one has a accordian look to it, its purpose is to make the exhaust sound more quieter, but you lose HP in the process.

The best mods for G35 is Exhaust, CAI and the Z Intake tube. these 3 mods shoud push you up near 300 hp.

Re: Mods

Johnpick, exhaust, pullies or crank pulley and plenum (intake manifold) are the biggest HP gains for mods on the G. Intake helps too, hmm tough decision. If your looking to go with one mod i would say depending on your budget everyone starts off with an intake and then goes crazy like i did =) Here are my mods.. I will be going for an aftrer dyno soon so you will see my gains, the gaisn you can REALLY feel and were pretty serious on this car, alot of runs against cars ive faced proved it.

Re: Mods

Iam thinking about putting a 350Z Intake than Hyperground, is there any downs side to this like lower gas mileage?

Re: Mods

People have actually said it conserved some gas or they got better gas mileage surprisingly!! i havent really looked into it, maybe someone else could answer that.
