OP.. call Infiniti or take it to another dealer.. i would take it to another dealer first.

I've never tried this, and maybe Dave has and knows better than me, but I don't agree. Having the records for the most recent 50k miles is a strong case for an engine problem, if there was an oil change problem before that you'd think it would have shown up before now.

I think you'll have some success with Infiniti consumer affairs, just be polite (seriously), and explain the situation. Note that they especially try and help loyal Nissan / Infiniti customers.
