No timing belt; timing chain. Only belts are for a/c, alternator and other accessories. These can be had for under $40 and replaced in under 1 hour.
I live down in south florida my bro lives in t town he was tellin me you guys almost got snow the other day. And thanks for the reiteration i understand the car has a timing chain and changeing the other belts is not an issue, I just know from past expiernces that timing belts are far from fun.

You can get an 05 - 06 with around 70k miles for about $15 - $16k if you shop around.

i just picked up an '06 6mt last week for 16850 with 39k miles on it traded in a 99 altima with 153k miles and got 1500 for it. so 15350
Dam thats a really good price considering these cars were retailing at 35 thousand. But my money can only stretch as far as 10k. I guess my market would be a high mileage 03.

^Try to get a late 03 if you can (non doggy door) or an 04. They have a few things the early ones don't (like tuning options for one)

My cousin got an 04 awd sedan 5at with just under 70k miles last may for $10k. He got it through a friend of his parents who sold it to him for just a bit over what they would have got for trade in value of it. So if you shop around anything is possible.
Hey do you have a link or something that will tell me all the differences. Or do you mind listing them for me. I would really appreciate that. And dam thats a lucky *** person. If that offer came by me and i passed I would let everyone on this form slap on me.

^Listing all the changes from 03.0, 03.5, 04.0 and 04.5 would be a very tall order.
I'll give you the major differences. You'll have to do a little digging to find out the build dates to determine half-years. The build date is on a sticker at the bottom of the drivers side B pillar. In other words, open the drivers door and look at the bottom right part behind the door.
03.0 = "Doggy Door" Has the trunk handle in the back. Also has an older computer that isn't readily tunable.
03.5 = Newer ecm that is tunable, and no handle on the back.
04.0 = I'm not sure of the changes, maybe someone else can chime in?
04.5 = Changes in shift logic on the AT. IIRC you can tell an 04.5 from an 04.0 by looking at the AT shifter. (button on front vs button on side)

I know, it was such a great deal. I paid $15k for an 03.5 coupe 6mt with the same mileage at the same time. We both bought g35s without knowing it. Had I found the deal he did, I would probably have a sedan right now. (but I do love my coupe)Originally Posted by nfsp1

nfsp1 ....chill with the jokes I know a couple things about cars. And Ima do some research my self. I headin to daytona tomorrow for a v dub car show. And Ill def do some fact finding anf get back to you. On a serious not I really appreciate the helpfulness of these fourms. Most guys are grade a *******s bout offering help.
You telling me were a vehicles production date is. OR where I can find the model of a car. But its cool now a days you gota treat everyone like this before something goes wrong. The one thing I learned in the automotive world is that you can never be to vague with directions. You should always be as specific as possiable because if something goes wrong its on you.
