Test pipes on an 03 Sedan

So I have an 03 sedan. Only exhaust mod I have right now is the coupe midpipe, which definitely made the exhaust sound a lot better. Next thing I wanna get are some test pipes. I'm guessing I should go with some resonated ones because I'm trying to avoid rasp. Just looking for a nice, deep growl. Any recommendations on what to get? Thanks.

I had test pipes on my 04 sedan. the raspy noise did get on my nerves a lot, but the top end power was worth it. id go with high flow cats.

+1 if you are trying to avoid rasp then go with HFCs. You should also check out MD's new ART pipes too.

Even resonated ones? I remember someone saying the GTM ones sounded like the stock exhaust, just louder.

well you also might want to think about emissions too. if you do test pipes, its a PITA to keep taking them off and putting your cats back on. HFC are going to be your best bet. I assume it depends on the state emission laws too.

Don't do test pipes. I have them... the rasping really irritates me in daily driving.

Wow they look interesting, I wonder if what DaveB said about OC and TP's is true. Very Interesting read. Something to think about.

Get resonated pipes if you're worried about rasp. I don't it at all cos it's not much with my non-resonated ones...although I do have to replace my y pipe again

i have the test pipes and the high flow pipes. i recommend the high flow. dont get the test pipes it makes bad raspy sound and no way to get rid of it 100%, plus it is gonna through engine check light, plus the smell of the gas, but it works perfect on high RPM. i only put them on when i go to the drag race.
