when i got mine in 2005, the dealership in Texas could only find 1 black 6mt sedan, that had to transport from Florida. . .so i picked it up with the quickness. . .soooo, does this mean our 6MT sedans will be worth more 10 years from now than they were when purchased?! haha, too bad!

I searched for like 6 months and finally found one I liked that was clean and priced right. 06 6MT DG Sedan 22k miles
Automatic wasn't an option for me, Ive only driven manuals for the last 13 years ( since I got a license )

There really isn't many at all, You search eBay you find like 300 Sedans select manual and it drops to like 12

I looked at a black 04 and a gray 04, then found my 05 auto with less miles and picked it up.

Should have waited... ugh. Next car will be a 6mt. I am NOT making that mistake again...

when i have about 5 or 6 of them... no one wants them.. then people ask me for them.

I had no choice I only had 3 in my dealership at the time so I took one of them. Of 1,000 G sedans we order per year, only 15 of them will be 6mt

I randomly got mine when I didn't even think I could afford a g35. Friend called me from the dealership it was at and I hadn't seen him since elementary school. It was an 06 and loaded minus navi and 6 speed. Got it for a great price and got a loan for the lowest I could get...was mean't to be.

Quote: Just wondering.. how many 6mt sedans were produced each year? They seem so rare, its almost impossible finding one.
I don't know where you've been looking but a 6mt is very hard to sell, therefore they're always listed on every car trading site, 2 questions everyone always asks when they call you "does it have A/C? & is it an auto???"

Sounds like there is more demand for the MT around here...? Dealers can't get their hands on them quick enough and they are sold immediately.

If you're serious about buying a 6MT check the marketplace here as well. There are usually a few for sale always.

I've seen 5% as the number of 6MT sedans. It sounds realistic to me.

I found mine after a silver coupe 6mt got "sold" before I could buy it. His buy fell through though, so if I had waited a few more days, I'd have a silver coupe instead of my Lakeshore Slate 6MT.
