ok so i was driving tonight and i noticed that if i go past 2k rpms, my car just seems like its bucking ( jerking back and forth). i do have a CAI and its a little wet from the snow melting and getting up on it. could this be the issue? or does it take more water than that? i already have replaced the spark plugs with oem about 10k ago.

 

Not Hydro lock just a wet MAF, might want to convert it to a short ram (if possible) till the weather dries up, spraying some MAF cleaner on it should dry it off.

 

hydrolock is when you ingest water into the engine and the engine just stops because water doesn't compress. It sometimes bends rods and breaks things.

Sounds like wet MAF to me

 

Clean your air filter and your MAF.
