to get or not to get.

so i have been wanting to wait for some m45 rims to put on my car.. i found this deal that i feel i should take, guy is selling his set of coupe 18s for 350, tires have approx 95% life so thats a plus, and i will surely check for the sensors.. im thinking maybe i could get them for 300 considering he says rims are in ok condition.
i need feedback.. should i wait and try and get the m45 rims or hit this one?

thanks all for your feedback.

To be honest, I would hold off until you find a good set of OEM 19's for a few more. OEM 19's look good on sedans. Way better than OEM 18's IMHO.

For good tires and decent rims, that's not a bad way to go. Coupe 18's look great on the Sedan.

I too like the coupe 18's. If I were you I would hold out until you find a set of wheels in great condition before you purchase unless you're on a tight budget and those are all you can afford. My coupe 19's look great on 1 side of the car, but the 2 on the driver's side are rashed and have the acid stains (bought them like that) and they drive me crazy. I'm going to replace them this summer because I want all my wheels to look good.

I would have waited to buy until I found a totally clean set if I did it all over again.

Alot of coupe 18s/19s threads lately.

Yeah just wait up, and take your time. Unless your current tires are bald and you need to replace them.

Sometimes it really sucks living where G's are few and far between. Deals like this never come up around here. I've seen two good deals pop up locally on Craigslist and they were both gone within an hour.

I ended up piecing together a set and the shipping cost me as much as the wheels.

Yes, hold out for what you really want. Don't know of anyone currently running M35/45 sports on his or her sedan since SDGenius took his off. They are very classy on a sedan. There was a set for sale locally up until recently, if I didn't already have coupe Rays I would have snapped them up.

I don't know they just don't look sporty, much like the M45. They are kind of like a bigger version of 06-08 civic si 17s

I think these are the M45 sports he was referring to.

Not sure they're the same as the ones you posted.

Maybe it's just the angle, but those don't look like the same wheels to me. The spokes look wider at the top on the white one.

Anyway, I don't think it's an issue of which wheel looks better. Both look good and he wants the M45's. It's also a lot more rare to see the M45's on a G than it is to see the Coupe 19's. Also, someone in the thread I posted said the wheels were forged. If that's true, I doubt the weight difference between them and the Coupe 19's is too much.
