Wink My Project for Tail Light black out and some other stuff blacking out too

I just bought 05/06 tail light upgrade for my car but can't find anybody selling just the reverse light so until then I'm keeping the 03/04.

Ok here is the comparison in my car before and after

So I just did the reverse light mods for the middle red line

Took the picture with my iphone so not the greatest color

Final picture of my painted tail light (Thanks goes to Doug in AZ www.dougaudio.com)

And here is night pic

Ok so I decided to paint the emblem and the front grill and mesh also per so many people on the local forums told me too and yes I kind of like it

Here is the results

And this is day time picture from rear view and emblem ... better than the night time lol

In the progress of painting my OEM grill black also ..... waiting to get dry hmm..... can't wait

Ok now is dry and here is the picture of the front

Next project headlight black out and possible rims also got too many chips right there need to be fix .....

I have just the 05-06 outer tail lights, and kept my 03-04 reverse lights. I personally like this setup. Off topic--that "SKYLINE" looks tacky...Just IMHO.

Why not just cut the red reflector strips out of the 03-04 reverse light?

I'll be doing this soon.

Hahaha I knew someone would say that. My co fellow g and z told me to take off fuji emblem and put skyline since it is skyline but there are holes in there so I used that to cover it. I personally don't like it either so until I get the fund to cover the whole I guess I will put the fuji back in there

yes 1 person like the set up. I kinda like it too but then with the GTR overlay that I'm ordering it will cover it anyway

How difficult is it to cut those out? I've just seen the result, not how to do it. Anyway, if you could remove the stripes it would look good. Otherwise just leave it.

I would do something different and paint your reverse lights to match your car but leaving the center unpainted where the reverse light bulbs are, I did mine that way but tinted smoke

Then just tint your tails GTR style and tint your reverse lights like mine with the center strip untinted, that would look great

Quick Reply: 05/06 reverse light or keep it 03/04 then get the gtr overlay .....
