Thinking about going upside down on the G

Thinking about going upside down on the G
As I stated in another post I no longer need awd, since then I have been trying to sell my G. I have an offer for 10k (Very low offer, I know) but I have found the car I want. I have the loan together for the (new to me) car. But I am not going to finalize it until I get rid of the G. I am seriously thinking about taking the 10k offer and taking the loss on it. No one wants an X here in socal in one of my sale ads I made a typo (listed as a G35 instead of a G35X) and I got a lot of interest until people found out it was awd. What do you all think? take the loss and get a new ride or hold out keep putting miles on the G until the right buyer comes along? Money wise I am stable and not really sweating the loss but if I can avoid it I would like to. My friends have suggested holding on to the G until it sells for the right price, but if I keep it I am going to keep driving it (more miles less value).... But 10k for the car feels like a slap in the face...
EDIT: COBRA ESQ has already told me to have some ****ing patience (among other good advice and info) while shopping for a cobra but I got the PP seller to drop on price and I am ready to go.

I have thought about that but finding a 03/04 cobra at a dealer is tough and stealerships want way over market value. The one I have already got financing for is private party and is about 20 miles away...

Tried selling it in Nd for about a month with no luck and about 2 weeks in socal. I am in a rush because I have found the next car I want, I have been talking with the seller and got him to drop his price.
I have not posted it on this forum since it has had some maint issues and I wouldnt want it to go to a member.. (everything has been fixed correctly but still...)

Selling at a 4k loss to get a 5k better deal on its replacement is a good deal.
Selling at a 4k loss to get a 2k better deal on its replacement is not.
The G is not going to depreciate any further unless you drastically increase miles or damage it.
But to echo above too, Cobras aren't exactly rare (not that the G is) and well-taken-care-of ones go on market all the time. Wait until autumn to come around and your G35x will be more valuable than it is now, plus a high-powered RWD will be easier to get a deal on, especially from a dealer. Just be willing to spend a lot of time there and walk away.

They are somewhat rare, just over 19,000 produced over a two year run and more than a few have been totaled. Many/most have been extensively modded and/or driven hard. The good news is that finding a basically stock one is not hard because there is strong support for them on various forums, especially SVTPerformance and almost always listed for sale on the national car sites as opposed to local newspapers.
EDIT: Forgot the OP wants a convertible, just under 7,000 produced over two years.
