Are 03/04 gauge clusters swappable with 05/06?

Are they a direct swap or will it not fit? I know the center console and what not is a direct swap.

Is the wiring the same?

Just did some searching, looks like they fit. Will I need the whole cluster+ hood and everything?

not sure about it working... but curious as to why you want to? Do you prefer the tech & speedo to be opposite from the way they are?

I dont really remember what they look like - I just remember having the tech & speedo flipped...

I imagine if it could be done, someone would have by now... but that's not to say you shouldn't try (I think its gonna be more hassle than its worth though).

Yea if it's a direct swap then I'd be happy to pull it off, it has been done there just isn't details on what was done.

Ideally, I'd like to get the 05/06 and do the sanding trick and change the colour of the back light, just add something new to the interior. I think I'm going to track down some comfy seats first though.

I like the color change idea... something I keep thinking I'm gonna do - then forget about it...

I see what you mean about the rings/halos... to me it wouldn't be worth it for that (in fact I like the subtle look without the rings better).

Good luck with whatever you decide

Yea, I've wanted to do it for time and forgot about it all winter, now that the car is coming out of storage I can't afford the down time with no gauges haha.

yeah i also had plans to do this , but have yet to find any real good information. If its a direct fit ( far as lines up and screw holes ) wiring should be pretty simple I would think.

It is not a direct swap. You need to do a complete re-wiring, modify the cluster housing slightly and redrill a house for the trip reset.

The only one around our area that has done it is Raam to his coupe, but he had someone in the states do it for him.

There are a few posts about this.
