help me decide on coils!

I have been offered BC Racing BR complete coilovers with custom spring rate (10kg and 12kg) and an spc rear camber kit.

Keep in mind this is Canadian currency, if I were to order from the states you need to add $250 (duties and conversion) I will bracket the add.

I can buy these BC coils for $800 (they have roughly 18,000kms) delivered to my house and probably get cut a deal on the rear camber kit.

I can buy Megan coils for $900shipped. Then pay 13% and probably another $40 for brokerage fees.

Should I spend the extra 300 and buy lesser coils just because they are new or should I buy the $800 BCs and camber kit and call it a day.

I offered him $850 for the coils and camber kit. If he says yea, I'm taking it. If he counters, I'm buying the Megans.

I say you need somebody on this side of the border to help you out with swapping parts and storing/selling the old ones

Have u considered function and form coils?

Price wise they r between the Megans and BC. Quailty wise I heard they are better than megans.

I've had mine on for a few days and I like them.

The hills! lol

Where I live it's impossible to leave my house and not hit at least a 40 degree hill within a mile.

Not to mention the pot holes, poorly filled pot holes that stick outta the ground 2 inches etc.

I am basically looking to completely eliminate tire gap, I still want to be able to see my tires though.

Does anyone have specs or a formula as to how far the wheel will pull away from the fender as the camber becomes more negative/ the car lowers.

What sizes tires are you planning to run? To completely eliminate tire gap you'll have to give it a nice drop.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that 1 degree of camber was the equivalent to about 10mm.

the wheels are;
F;19x8+35 R;19x9.5+45
F; 225,35 R; 275,35

My next tires are going to be slightly thinner in the rear. I plan to go about 2.5" I'm trying to avoid buying the expensive front camber kit and only buying the rear. I might just deal with burning front tires if it's not too bad.

What about some used MDU coils off a very trusted forum member?
