I kinda want to buy the more expensive Phillips 6K bulbs...but $15 is temping.
Does anyone have them and how long have them been in your car and used?
well if you buy there kit its lifetime on bulbs, but if you buy the bulbs alone its only a year, I just got 6k D2R bulbs, and 3k HID Slim kit for my fogs. $82 shipped for everything, I hear good things about DDM.Originally Posted by Mustang5L5

Since we have no way of knowing which ballasts these bulbs may be attached to, we can only offer a 1 year warranty on separate bulb sales. Even so, these are the SAME bulbs contained in our Lifetime Warrantied DDM Kits.
If you send the bulbs by first class mail(USPS) its like 3 days and less then a buck or two, I don't have a problem with that Since we have no way of knowing which ballasts these bulbs may be attached to, we can only offer a 1 year warranty on separate bulb sales. They have a sale now so I went for it, A few people on the forum here are running there bulbs and on many other forums too. for 15 bucks Ill see how it goes.

original price$30,marked down to $15+shipping which i got the UPS 2nd day shipping which was $24.So in total i spent about $39, the bulbs only have a 1year warranty. My friend got 6ks kit from DDM for his triumph motorcycle so hes got lifetime warranty. But the price is so worth it in this economy,i hope they last AT LEAST a few years or more "knock on wood",but if anything ever happened to them at least they were cheap in price. i took a look at the bulbs and they seem to be good quality bulbs,my RIGHT stock xenon Just went out and my sedan is an 04!, so i'll compare the two when i install them to see build quality. From what i heard DDMtuning IS pretty reliable with there HID's and alot of ppl get them,so they must be good.I'll post some pics once theyre installed.Originally Posted by Mustang5L5

most likely a light bulb. take out the supposedly-burnt bulb and look at it/install the working-driver side bulb into it. Just make sure your ballast didnt crap out....
lol ddm tuning has a sale of a sale, now bulbs at 10 bucks. Seems they are trying to clear stock? hmm

while this may be true, when compared with a 6k even an 8k the 4300 is relatively yellow.Originally Posted by LuXXXz

the color definition of 4300k is white with a slight yellow tint. 5000k is pure white.
either you never seen 6000k before in your life or you dont have 4300k...

you cant really see it clearly in pics. It depends on the white balance of the camera. you can make a 4300k look exactly like a 6000k in a picture. lemme find a thread for you.

^^ yeh thats what im saying maybe in the cameras it looks like a yellow tint to it but in person it looks purpleish! and you guys do realize there is a clearance light in the headlight on 03/04 and thats what gives the yellow tint! my clearance lights burned out and it looks (no yellow at all) great

I guess Davidxu must have conceded that you were right since he stopped posting. I have a right headlight low beam out and I'm looking for a replacement. Autozone has one for 99.99. It's got a temp of 4150K. I want to have one as closely matched to stock as possible. It's a metal halide bulb, though. And the stock in the 04 sedan is xenon, right? All the Infinitis are xenon, right? I do not want to pay the dealer $190 for one of these things. I need to get one and put it in today, though. I don't want to be riding dirty. Would anyone here recommend against the bulb from autozone?Originally Posted by LuXXXz

sorry i totally forgot about this thread.
Check the forum vendors for hid replacements. It's cheaper than AUtozone or dealers

Too late man. I had to get this thing fixed. Can't be ridin' dirty cause the cops are itching for a reason to ticket where I live. I went ahead and blew the benjamin on it at Autozone. And the color is more white than anything. I don't see the slight blue tint that the other one has. I won't let this depress me, though. The tough thing is that while I wait for shipping from vendors that are far away, I'm playing Russian Roulette with the cops when I have to drive at night. Thanks, though.

I run 6k and they look great, just enough blue to not look ricey but give you a nice luxury look.
