Hearing new dashboard noise!! Pls help

I started hearing a kind of knocking noise coming from my dashboard about 4 days ago. It only happens when I start accelerating, never when im over 5-10 MPH. Anyone have any ideas? 2004 G35X 5AT

Does it only happen once, or in rapid succession? Does it happen faster when the rpm's go higher? Could it possibly be from the engine compartment rather than the dashboard? What is the knocking noise similar to? Does it happen only soon after the car is first started and goes away when its warmed up?

With the information given right now, I would have to say it might be something to do with your AWD... Any warning lights?
When you turn snow mode on, do you hear it at higher speeds?

It happens less than 5 times , im pretty sure its not from the engine compartment. I put it in neutral and it just listened for about 10 minutes and heard nothing. I don't have any warning lights. I can try turning on snow mode and see what happens.

I remember seeing a thread on here about a guy fixing all the noise in his car, I can't seem to find it by searching, can anyone paste a link?

Also, does anyone else have this same problem?
