Front license plate cover
I wish I had this problem too...but I am sure that there are TWO different plate covers for the sedans. I do not know how to tell the plate covers apart though. The nismo cover is different from the regular sedan bumper plate. You may have the wrong one for your ride. NOT to turn this into a FS or WTB thread but I am in need of a Brilliant silver NISMO plate cover (will paint if need be) if anyone has one. Thanks and good luck with install.
Okay so i picked up the part today and it did come with those tabs.
However, I think i MIGHT HAVE figured out what the problem is with yours.
Where the tabs are supposed to go, it seems like theres nowhere to put them, but actually theres a black foam, if I'm not wrong about your G.
The holes for the two tabs are cut out of the foam already.
They should be all the way at the top. (They're hard to see)
Just slide the metal brackets that hold the bottom screws into place before you try to install the piece,
then slide the tabs into the ALREADY CUT OUT holes in the black foam. After that you can push the bottom in, and just slide in the screws and tighten them.
I hope this helps? Let us know!

getting a replacement part could cost up to $100 so its a good thing you didn't break yours

that's how much i paid for mine from the dealer
Some states do not require a licence plate on the front of vehicles, only the back.
Now by removing the front license plate, you're left with an ugly looking hole from which you can get to where the tow bolt goes.
Instead of buying some cheap looking aftermarket license plate, there is an
oem filler panel that is made from the same material as the bumper that should fit in perfectly flush with the front bumper. This is the cover that he's referring to.

^ If you want to avoid paying $100 you could always look around on ebay.
It's hard to find but they do have them, the only downside is that you might have to paint it yourself if they don't have your color.
I think they usually have the part for about $40 and if you can find the right color, well then you lucked out!
I wasn't able to find the right color online so I just went to the dealer
