Hey i have a green g35 sedan its the 2003.5 so i dont have the ugly doggy door trunk....i dont know if i should do a full respray to black or white because i like the kinda blacked out/white with black roof/tint kinda look and i was wondering what do you guys think about a black roof on the green g35 with black mirrors CF or black lip kit with smoked front lights black rims and tinted tails and dark window tint all around...?

and don't tint your front headlights, paint the inside. There's a DIY on it. Or since you're in the bay area, get g35papa to do it.

Yeah!!! i didnt see many greens on here so i had to ask my own question haha i have a couple pics ill get them up asap the car is 100% stock as of now :/ im hoping to change that in the next year or 2

Don't change your color!!! The emerald mist is so rare! If you're going to do anything, WRAP the car in a matte black or matte white vinyl and preserve that factory paint!

 

I'm confused...are you wanting to respray your car white or black or just add black accents to it? Whatever you do, don't get rid of the green. I love that color and wish I would have looked for one when I was shopping. A 2004 with a full Nismo kit popped up 30 miles from me a month after I bought my car.

 

GreenG, congrats on owning one of the rarest G's around -- especially a non-doggy-door (though I like mine). You should wait and see what 4DGS does with his car, see if you like the look of a changed roof, etc. Mine, on the other hand, is what we call on here "OEM Modded", that is, modded with (mostly) off the shelf Infiniti/Nissan parts that came from the factory or on similar cars like the G35 coupe and 350z.

BLASPHEMY !! HERESY !! Under no circumstances are you permitted to paint an Emerald Mist G35 any other color. I curse Infiniti every day for discontinuing that color, usually right after I finish breakfast. We have torches and pitchforks and will come and drag you out of your house if you paint it!

Without a doubt, the nicest and rarest color for the G35. I would have literally flown anywhere in the US to get one had they made an Emerald Mist in AWD, but EM was only available in 2003, and the AWD didn't arrive until 2004. In fact, if I ever decide to repaint my Diamond Graphite there's a very good chance it will be Emerald Mist.

I doubt it was a 2004 since they only had EM in 2003.

 

Good call. I found the old pics I posted and it was an '03. Also, I don't remember if this was the one close to me or not. Regardless, I would have loved to ****** this one up.
