350z vs g35 suspension

ima be putting some coupe 18s on my car, i have read the g35 coupe suspension gives a 1/2 drop vs the 350z which gives a 1ich drop. i really dont wish to roll my fenders and was concerned that if i go with the 350z suspension it will hit my fender. what do you guys think?

No, you won't hit your fenders. Plenty of people have rocked that for a while. of course, this largely depends on the offset of the rims you choose. for an 8.5 or 9" wheel in the rear you won't have an issue assuming your offset is between +27 and +40. You should keep it around +30 or a little smaller if possible. take a look at all the threads about the 350z suspension, including the STICKY in the Brake & Suspension forum.

^+1. I'm running Z suspension with stock 17's no problem and I know some members are running 245 width tires on 19x8 +30 with no problems.

I'm rocking 350z with 19x8 +45 and no rubbing here. I'm going to run some spacers soon as well, should not need to roll fenders.

The OP said Coupe 18's, not 19's. They're 18x8 with a +30 offset. It's a great fit on this car, and shouldn't rub with a Z spring drop, but you should measure before you drop to see if you need to roll your fenders.

Just so you know, it is POSSIBLE to do springs only. But it will wear out the shocks faster. It's not as bad if you have the sport suspension (red shocks)

But you best bet is still to do the whole suspension liike you said.
