You're on-point with the type of modding that many do here. Most of the ones that "scream body kit" are coupes, so there are actually several nice clean options for the Sedan.
Look for current pics of CandlestickPark (Kurookie front) and G35Papa (Hikkatadori front) and you'll see what I mean.

As for the wheels, the design looks pretty good, but they'll look sooooo much better in a 18 or 19. Aftermarket wheels that are the same size as the stock 17's never look elegant.

Oh yeah, and the last two posts aren't kidding, kiss your wallet goodbye, because this site will give you the mod-bug BAAAAAD!
about the wheels, I've seen some rims that got bent from driving into potholes because they're too big
this isn't something that I would want to be constantly worried about so I'd rather stay with 17s
also, I don't want to break my bank account on the first mod

thanks everyone for the welcomes!

^If you're worried about that, go with 18's. You can still get a fairly meaty tire on an 18, so you won't worry about bending the wheel, and 18" tires are common enough the prices aren't bad at all, espcially if you can catch a deal.
While I still think (as do many others) that 19s or 20s are really the perfect size for the G, 18s really are a significant improvement over 17s.
In the end though, it's your car, your money.
