Is $80 a good deal for Unrevised 350z springs/struts? They have approx 60k miles on them but look like they are in good condition....
^ Shocks, yes. Personally, I wouldn't buy used shocks that have more than 20k miles on them. Springs, if installed correctly, are not a wear or tear item from what I've read
Also, OP, you should avoid 2003-2004 350z shocks as they are 'unrevised' and were the bane of early 350z drivers who complained plenty about them enough as to make Nissan revise the shocks for 2004.5 on.
Buying a unrevised Z suspension is a big mistake since for not much more money you can buy a revised Z suspension. The problem is in the unrevised shocks. Yes, handling is fantastic, turn in, brake dive and squat are all much superior. BUT, you pay a huge price for that much shock stiffness. Freeway comfort takes a 180 and you get a horrible amount of bounce and porposing that I found to be unliveable. I did one of the first 350Z suspension swaps back in 03, paid $150 shipped for the setup. Pulled of off when I could not stand the ride quality. Honestly, I'd run used revised Z shocks or Tokico HP before I'd run the oem sport shocks. They will work, not the most perfect combo, certainly a much better ride then running the unrevised Z shocks, will say that.
