If he did this on too HIGH of a speed he could have melted the plastic lens slightly.

I do my by hand with the PlastX polish. Takes 10 mins per headlight with 3 coats of wax on top.

One of mine is too yellowed to be revived by hand. I used some polish I had and my rotary and it got some of it out.

Try the least abrasive pad by drill on LOWEST speed, then by hand, then a microfiber towel by hand with Maguiar's Plast-x (or similar)- your technique has to be perfect with power tools or it looks worse because you end up scuffing even worse- which makes it really hard to buff out... hopefully you didn't do too much damage and you can eventually buff them back out.

just hold the drill speed down to a lower speed than full (or if it has settings, set it low) and don't use too much pressure. just get the front of the housings pretty hazy white and keep switching to the finer pads. (I've seen my friend use a kit but I forget which one he had, but make sure if your kit has one, use the foam pad to put between the drill piece and the sand paper so it's flexible)

You wet sanded, right? I went through this with my old 2002 Saab, here's a detailed write up that includes before and after pics: http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=142724

I hope this helps. If you *didn't* wet sand when sanding earlier, you might be in for a problem.

Those look nice. Pretty close to what I want to do, but not compatible with factory HIDs. Fail.
